Adware, spyware, viruses, worms, trojans and other malware are a constant threat. Back in 1993 when I spun off Help-My-PC.com as a distinct brand from Don Lekei Consulting, most techs had no idea that there was this huge groundswell coming up of software that walks right through your antivirus protection.

The following software are the ones that I consider the best to protect your PC. Beware of lists of software that you find on the internet. Many web site operators create lists based on who pays them to link to them. While, of course, I try to get revenue for the software that I recommend, I list software that I have personal experience with and would recommend, reguardless of the amount that I get.
